I have a confession. I’ve been reading less. Less than a voracious reader that is. I think occasional readers would still consider my reading speed pretty fast. Image may be NSFW.

😛
I’ve also been spending less on books. Why? Well, because of that title. I’ve been getting into baking lately, and it’s another expensive hobby I tell you. But it’s so much fun and so delicious.

I pretty much get most of my recipes and knowledge through the internet. You can pretty much google anything. But there is this one site that I frequent A LOT. It’s also on the title of this post: Sally’s Baking Addiction. She has a lot of interesting recipes that I want to try out. Some of them I’ve already done actually.

What I really like about her site is that you get to see a lot of great pictures. She gives out certain notes that you can apply to other recipes too. Plus you learn a lot from the comments too because she answers a lot of questions there. I love her recipes so much that I want her cookbook. Anybody wanna gift it to me? Just kidding. I’m gonna save up for it.

Though I will admit that I tweak her recipes to fit my tastes so that might be something you want to do when you try out recipes online. I know people say that baking is a science and you have to be exact and everything, but that’s not always necessarily true. If you want to change some things, try asking the author of the recipe or research substitutes or some other ways you can change a recipe. Baking may be a science, but universal taste pallets are not. The important thing is to please yourself or the people you’re feeding with whatever you whip up.

What about you readers out there? Do any of you like baking? Are there other sites or blogs that you recommend? Are you able to read a lot and take up baking at the same time? How do you accomplish so much? Are there are other hobbies that you are interested in? I dunno. Tell me anything. I’m just rambling here.
